Low density polyethylene (LDPE)

It is tasteless, odorless, nontoxic, lusterless, opalescent and wax-like particles. It has the density of about 0.920 g/cm3 and a melting point of 130 ℃ ~ 145 ℃. It is insoluble in water, slightly soluble in hydrocarbons, toluene, etc., and resistant to most acids and alkalis. It has small water absorption, maintains flexibility at low temperature, and has high electrical insulation. It is processed by injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, and mainly used for agricultural film, industrial packaging film, pharmaceutical and food packaging films, mechanical parts, articles of every days, building materials, wire, cable insulation, coating and synthetic paper, etc.
